The name itself depicts the place. One side of the resort premises is surrounded by Rani Hill and on the other side is an embarkment which has a lot of history in it. The embarkment is also known as "Mumai Kata Gor" which was made during the "Battle of Saraighat". It was built by Lachit Borphukan so as to protect Guwahati from the mighty forces of the Mughals during the battle. With such views surrounding the place and with homely mouthwatering delicacies being served at pocket friendly prices, we ended up naming it.
